We all hope you had a wonderful 4th of July while vacationing with Oceans Luxury Vacations.
Today marks Volusia County’s annual beach clean after the 4th of July celebrations. We know thousands of people and families visit us each year and we ask that you kindly join us and participate in keeping our beaches beautiful.
Locations where the beach cleanups will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Tom Renick Park, 1565 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach
- Sun Splash Park, 611 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach
- Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park, 6656 S. Atlantic Ave.
If you can not make it to one of these locations, still join in by enjoying a morning walk and picking up items that you see that do not belong on the beach. We are currently in the turtle nesting season and the better our beaches are the easier it is for these mama turtles to make it to shore and safely lay their eggs.

“Volusia County is calling for volunteers to help clean the beaches after the weekend’s July Fourth festivities on July 5th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at three sites:

- Sun Splash Park, 611 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach
- Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park, 6656 S. Atlantic Ave., New Smyrna Beach

This team effort will make the county’s beaches clean and safe for sea turtles, birds, and other wildlife. We hope to see you there!”
